Putri Bunga Jakarta 2014

First of all, let me praise the Lord, my Jesus Christ thank you for everything in this life. I feel so grateful that you give the opportunity to become 1st winner of Putri Bunga Jakarta 2014. YOU've choosen me and YOU will make me able to hold this title until the end of period. This opportunity really precious for my life, this is one lifetime opportunity. Really thanks God.

The challenge is for this year, in 2015 i must participate the national beauty pageant competition which is Queen of Flower 2015 which is my preceded Putri Bunga Jakarta 2013 has won this competition with the title Queen of Flower 2014. That will become a great challenge for myself. But i don't want to make it a pressure to myself. Just do everything with my best because God Lead my life.

Putri Bunga Jakarta is a beauty pageant that judged like the other pageant, beauty, brain, behavior or manner, impressive, smart, social, Actually this is a beauty pageant for choosing tourism ambassadors of Rawa Belong which is the center and the biggest of flowers market in Southeast Asia.

The first screening interview hold on 31 August 2014 and then on 1st until 2nd September 2014 are the debriefing days, it's like quarantine day when we got all of the knowledge materials more about Jakarta environment, flowers, florist, flowers market, flower arranging with foam on the pot training and so on. We got final judging panel on the 2nd September. The coronation day hold on 3rd September 2014, the day of my best friend's, Tricia Adeline Alam, had her birthday.

The most critical thing that happen in my life that i didn't know why an unforgettable absurd moment always went to me in my special moment in my life like what did happen few years ago. When I was inducted as a vice chairman of the student council in an official inauguration ceremony, the flagpole that i brought was stuck the basketball ring so the row ceremony that walk together with me become mess up then there's a sound of a flag pole that hit the ring, the sound is "ting" and every participants of the ceremony were laughed loudly, from my head principal, vice head principal, teacher, senior students and friends got laughed so loudly. That tragedy had made a new history actually as an unforgettable super absurd plus funny history that ever happen that bring everyone who was remember about it will laugh loudly, Mr. Oyong Cahyadi as the head principal of my senior high school gave a comment to me that "Gendis is to tall so the flagpole that she brought hit the basketball ring." He gave that comment with saying and laughing together at the same time.

Here we go on 3rd September 2014, the coronation day of Putri Bunga Jakarta 2014, the day that become one of history in my life has made. When I went back to the office of UPT Pusat Promosi dan Pemasaran Hortikultura Rawabelong after the coronation has finished, I fell in front of many reporters from many mass media because of the crown was stuck with the spanduk which dischared in front of office door's. I fell and the crown thrown to the floor. I'm okay, i didn't get any injury but my feeling was really really and so embarassing at that time. Many of them said to me that tragedy happened to me because of my height is too tall.
Why did absurd things always happen in my special important day?
And this is seriously happen, Oh My God I can't imagine what will happen next. I hope this is the last time that absurd thing comes to my life in my special historical important moment.

Okay well, the point that I wanna show to you all are the photos during the moment and some photo during I was on duty as Putri Bunga Jakarta 2014.

This is my photo after choosen as one from ten Finalists of Putri Bunga Jakarta 2014 on 1st September 2014. This photo taken when I was introducing my self for the first time in front of the other finalists.

Here we go to the 2nd day on 2nd September 2014. This is me and my chairmate when we were arranging the flowers. The theme of Gebyar bunga 2014 is Anthurium so we arrange with anthurium flowers.

This is it, my first masterpiece creation of Flowers arrenged with foam on pot. Feel so blessed that I can do it by myself with little help from the professional florist.

This is us when we visit the traditional market of Rawabelong "Pasar Bunga Rawabelong". We are so curious about all of the flowers there.

This is the ten of us when we visit Pasar Bunga Rawabelong.

After we visitted Pasar Bunga Rawabelong, we went for the last judging panel. The first session of judging panel is we divided into 2 group, 5 per each group and I was in the 2nd group. We assesed for posture, walk and over all appearance.

And after the group judging panel, all of us one by one go into the judging room. In the judging room we faced all of the questions, mental test, talent test by the judges.

Finally the coronation day came. 3rd September 2014 was our final of Putri Bunga Jakarta 2014. Ten of us were standing in front of many audiences of Gebyar Bunga 2014.

Really Thanks God, I've choosen as Putri Bunga Jakarta 2014. The crown of Putri Bunga Jakarta 2013 has moved to me as Putri Bunga Jakarta 2014. Praise lord, this is might happen only by HIS Grace.
